can't get it working...
by HM2K - Apr 3rd 2006 07:08:48
It seems you're required to install using "automated
methods".
This isn't very practical unless you have root access.
Perhaps a "standalone" version would be a good idea...

hard to install, didn't work
by Ben Crowell - Apr 29th 2005 17:19:35
Installation isn't just the standard stuff (perl Makefile.PL, etc.), and
was difficult to figure out. Maybe there is documentation on installing it,
but I couldn't find it. For the benefit of anyone else who wants to give it
a shot, it has dependencies on a library called LWP (a.k.a. libwww-perl),
and also Crypt::SSLeay and TimeDate. The man page is actually pretty nice,
though.
Once I got it to run, it actually didn't work:
[Fri Apr 29 18:14:18 2005] Error: Bad response from eBay for requested
page (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=...
