About: Apparix enables fast file system navigation by bookmarking directories and later jumping to them using the mark. The contributed bash completion code allows one to complete on bookmarks and on subdirectories of the target directory. Changes: Apparix now acts by default as a drop-in replacement for cd and can be used in the same manner, including the special behavior for cd without argument and "cd -". Bookmarks, subdirectories of the bookmark, and directories specified in the regular way can all be navigated and completed transparently. This merging of cd with bookmarks can be customized to a large extent.
About: dagger is a small command line utility written in Python which tags and renames audio files. Currently supported formats are MP3 and OGG Vorbis. dagger's configuration file supports different profiles with their own sets of options. Changes: This version corrects the parsing of filenames in subdirectories. It also contains bugfixes for capitalization of words containing parentheses and dashes.
About: DSHub is a hubsoft for the ADC Network. It uses the ADC protocol (the next DC generation). It is multi-platform and has many interesting features. Changes: This is a kind of milestone release, with a lot of improvements in stability. It has been tested successfully with 800 users. The most important reported bugs are gone. There is a small known bug on Linux and Solaris in which ports are not released when restarting.
About: WebGUI is a content management framework built to allow average business users to build and maintain complex Web sites. It is modular, pluggable, and platform independent. It was designed to allow the people who create the content to manage it online, rather than content management taking up the time of busy IT staff. WebGUI comes with a full host of features including shopping cart, subscriptions, forums, photo galleries, FAQs, link lists, blogs, SQL reports, a Web services interface, and a very configurable user privilege and profiling system. Changes: A number of fixes to the Shop and other core areas are included.
About: FxMovieManager is a file manager which can display thumbnails of movie files. It can also manage a playlist of movies and act as a simple front-end to MPlayer.
About: Blue is a new multi-purpose dynamic programming language. The minimalistic syntax is intuitive, easy to learn, and adapts to a broad range of programming styles and standards. Changes: This release fixes several bugs and memory leaks. A leak in array's uniq method was fixed. The int, abs, round, and trig methods were added to the number type. An algorithm was added to detect and free cyclic references in lexical variables.
About: Kangaroo-egg is a Web server that follows the HTTP/1.1 protocol and includes the DQM scripting language and container, which operates like Servlet/JSP. Changes: A system redirect function was added.
About: SQLyog is an easy to use, compact, and very fast graphical tool to manage your MySQL database from anywhere in the world. SQLyog is a tool that allows you manage a MySQL database. Changes: A new GRID design ("zebra" Office 2007 style) is used for easier navigation. Multiple selection can be done in GRIDs with Shift+click. Data synchronization was improved. It is now typically 2-8 times faster than before depending on data. An option to generate a SQL sync script was added. The speed of exports was drastically improved. Automatic and manual update checks were added.
About: Jackess is a pure Java library for reading and writing MS Access databases. Changes: A variety of fixes were made regarding supporting tables with lots of columns. File space usage was improved for MEMO/OLE type columns. Primitive support for writing unicode compressed columns was added.
About: Aspyct is a Python module that allows you to use aspect oriented programming. Changes: New features include atPrint, afterPrint, afterCall, atRaise, beforeInit, afterInit, and restoreIni. Some bugs have also been corrected.
About: uxdstools is a set of Unix directory service tools. It is a suite of command tools to administer POSIX user and group accounts in an LDAP directory. It is similar in spirit to the useradd/mod/del tools found on Linux and Solaris, the pw tools on BSD, the mk|ch|rmuser/group tools on AIX, etc. However, instead of manipulating local accounts, uxdstools manages POSIX-type accounts that can be found in LDAP directory services installations, namely those with posixAccount and posixGroup attributes. Changes: The format of strlen calls was changed to "unsigned long" to silence compiler warnings (in gcc versions later than 4.3.0).
About: MUSCLE (Multi User Server Client Linking Environment) is an N-way messaging server and networking API. It includes client-side networking APIs for various languages, including C, C++, C#, Delphi, Java, and Python. MUSCLE lets programs communicate over a network via streams of serialized Message objects. The included server program ("muscled") lets its clients message each other and store information in its server-side hierarchical database. The database supports flexible queries via hierarchical wildcarding, and "live" updates via a subscription mechanism. Changes: PrintStackTrace() was implemented for Mac OS X Leopard. The Hashtable Clear() method was imporved to be re-entrant. Various other minor tweaks were made.
About: PhpWebGallery is an image gallery with a very simple installation interface and administration panel. It features free or restricted access, user management, groups, access management for each category, multi-server support, user comments, HTML templates, virtual categories, multi-lingual support, an RSS notification feed, EXIF and IPTC support, multi-category support (each picture can belong to more than one category), compliance with W3C specifications, and simple external authentication.
About: There are many photo-gallery programs available. Zoph is different, as it concentrates on the management of large collection of photos instead of just showing them on the Web. It can store a lot of information about your photos, including the regular EXIF info, photographer, location, title, description, rating, and the people in the photo. Photos can appear in multiple albums and categories. Additional features include search, slideshows, lightboxes, email, access privileges, and multiple languages. Changes: This is an interim feature release that offers a preview on some new features in Zoph 0.8. It fixes bugs from 0.7.1 and 0.7.2 and it includes the bugfixes from 0.7.0.5, including the security fix. New features include mapping support, which shows the locations of your photos or places on a map, using the Mapstraction API. You can store timezones in Zoph and make automatic calculations between the different timezones. This is an unstable release. Users of 0.7.1, 0.7.2, or 0.7.2.1 should upgrade to 0.7.3 because of the security fix.
About: CSS4J is a Java library that implements the Document Object Model CSS API and integrates it with the DOM4J package. Helper classes to format iText PDF objects according to CSS are also provided. Changes: A bug where elements with multiple classes did not match the styles was fixed.
About: Unity is a user-friendly Cocoa application for designing and programming 3D games and a 3D game engine. Scripting is done using JavaScript, C#, or Boo via an embedded Mono run time. The resulting games can be deployed as stand-alone Mac OS X or Windows applications, Web plug-ins, or as Dashboard widgets. Unity is the tool that was used by Unity Technologies to create their game Gooball, which is available from Ambrosia Software. Changes: MMO related features were added, such as streaming asset bundles and multiple stitchable terrains for streaming in large worlds on-demand. A procedural animation and rigging API was added. Dynamic shadows and projectors now also affect terrains. Per-camera shader replacements were implemented. The editor now has complete undo and redo. Completely custom editor windows can now be created. A scripting API has been added to hook into Unity's asset import pipeline. Various performance improvements, minor feature enhancements, and bugfixes have also been added.
About: The UvumiTools TextArea is a Web plugin that adds usability features to your Web site's textarea input elements. It gives your users a visual indicator of how close they are to the maximum input size, and it also automatically grows and shrinks the textarea height to accommodate larger text submissions. These options are fully customizable. By default, you don't need to do anything more than simply link to the script in the HEAD area of your Web page. Changes: A major bug that was breaking functionality in Opera browsers was fixed. Minor improvements were made to IE functionality. This Plugin is ready for production use and is cross-browser compatible, fully degradable, and entirely non-obtrusive.
